Yorgus Nuttpud11 Apr, 2008 12:11Have no doubts, this is a fantastic game with amazing immersive graphics and tremendous action, until you become entangled with the aliens, which is about two thirds of the way through. There then follows a very tedious section finding your way through the alien base, with no great fun involved, and then some very limited and uninteresting combat with the blighters themselves. All the subleties in fighting your previous human foes (good AI, by the way) are lacking.There is some compensation in the closing scenes which are visually spectacular, but, ultimately, one crawls of to bed feeling rather disappointed.

adijux08 Jun, 2008 12:54Although Crysis brings the best graphics to PC gaming world, it`s not as impressive as I thought it would be. The story is very plain and boring. In fact, it was so boring that I didn`t finish the game. When I first saw gameplay videos (the game was not realeased yet), I was amazed by that reallistic environment: trees, rivers, beaches, plants. And the enemies were very "smart" comparing to other games. Nevertheless, when I got chance to play Crysis myself, it made me very disappointed. If you want a game with outstanding graphics - Crysis is for you. If you want smart enemies - Crysis is for you. If you want a game with a interesting story - go find yourself another game.

[Anonymous]27 Aug, 2008 19:12Great for graphics, enemies, awesome for levels (so much freedom).Bad: enemies have INCREDIBLY good eye sight, kind of makes you think they wear binoculars, and all the vehicles except the flying sort handle like a 2 legged rhino after spending a night at a club. otherwise; amazing.

Valaukar30 Aug, 2008 23:05This game really raised the bar for FPS games, replayeable and still entertaining after the 10th run through. Some downsides with certain aspects of gameplay such as forcing the player into a "linear" path. I hope that the follow up improves on this and takes advantage of some new technology as in Far Cry 2.

gazzerjay01 Sep, 2008 19:37I don`y know what the processes are that Crytek deem to be the most critical, but they have produced some of the best looking FPS games ever. Far Cry was superb and Crysis is spectacular, however, why do they keep pitting the player against aliens and mutants? Is this their view on the future of combat? IMHO I prefer to fight another, possibly smarter, human adversary than something which knows exactly when you are going to peek around a corner and has already sent a bullet on its way to meet you! (BTW most online games are spoiled by the morons who just want to mounth off all the time. Maybe a game manufacturer should apply some real-world scenarios into their games, such as, when you get killed, you have to sit out the whole game until it is restarted)

[Anonymous]07 Sep, 2008 14:07Alliens let down this game.Too tough, too fast, too "all-knowing", too many bullets needed for them. Also can`t run away/hide from them, as you can with humans - once spotted, chances are you can hardly hide again. This leads to lost fights against packs - bet many people need to cheat these levels.Looks, ambiance and fight against the Koreans rate very high.Overall, good length of single player campaign and fun "humans" AI to fight against.

xGRUx04 Jun, 2009 10:24Best graphics I`ve ever seen, Story was great,loved the incorporated technologies used in the game like the nanosuits and customizable weapons. The games a little short but that`s why there is a sequel.my computer could run this baby on very high and is playable so i enjoy it to the fullest. I recommend to anyone who has a high end computer and is a fan of first person shooters, Crytek will not disappoint you!
