In many ancient Asian traditions, everything on earth can be derived from the primary elements. For me, these elements are: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.

FIRE is everything that is energetic and passionate in the world. It is the creative, aggressive, and warm side of life. 

WATER is everything flexible and fluid in the world. It is the compassionate, cool, and adaptable side of life.

EARTH is everything solid and strong. It is the forgiving, firm, and persistent side of life.

AIR is everything free and wild. It is the clear, optimistic, and uncontainable side of life.
