This project did not come out of necessity for a new pair of sneakers (I’m loving the slip-on life so far) or to commemorate the season although it does fit very well but out of deep love for this color combination: Pink and yellow. When paired together it has such a magical effect on me that I had to find a way to wear it somehow. And that couldn’t be easier than to paint a pair of canvas shoes to create this abstract color block sneakers that I am so in love with.
Did I mention that I took these pictures all by myself? Seriously, my camera’s wifi option has been such a blessing. Essentially helping me press the shutter from my mobile while the camera is positioned somewhere on a tripod and I get to see my poses before I click. Now that’s a plus that every DSLR should have. In a gest, all I am saying is that it was a lot of fun and you should try painting a pair of sneakers.
Materials
1.Canvas sneakers
2. Fabric paint/Multi-surface paint in pink and yellow
3.Brushes
4.Pencil & eraser
5.Masking tape
Steps
1. First, we want to remove the shoelaces from the sneakers. And tape the outer soles of the sneakers with a masking tape to avoid dripping paint covering it. 
2. Go ahead and lightly sketch noodles and abstract shapes one piece at a time on a shoe and then draw the same on the other. This way you keep a relative symmetry between both the pairs. Keep an eraser by your side to correct mistakes.
3.Paint the abstract shapes first with the color of your choice. I went for yellow for that pop of color against the pale one i.e. pink.
4. Next, fill in the remaining outer surface with a sorbet shade of pink (that sounds so summer). Keep your sneakers aside to dry completely before you feed the laces back in.
Hop into them and frolick comfortably in your colorful sneakers as the sun is out shining.
