What do I say, this week has passed quite well. I redid my workspace which was long overdue. I thought I will have to work months before I could pull this off but I couldn’t be any wrong. All I needed was IKEA’s part sale and good DIY or two. And today I will be sharing one such DIY that I created i.e the geometric pinboards. If there was one thing that I was sure off when it came to my workspace it was that I needed to have a pin board.
I am that kind of person that requires constant reminders of the workload ahead of her. Sure, I do have a planner and I could set reminders all day on my phone but nothing helps me to be at the top of my work than having my deadlines up in front of my face all the time ( not to mention I get immense satisfaction from cutting off things in my list )
These VAGGIS noticeboards are already cool and perfect by themselves, but I couldn’t say no to a good geometrical twist to it! Let’s dive in and see what materials we will need to make these geometric pinboards
+ VAGGIS noticeboards
+ Lavender Spray paint
+ Pink Spray paint
+ Masking Tape
+Paper to cover
Take out your measuring tape and mark the midpoint of your notice board, it is at this point that you will tape your corks board from. For the pink one I marked the left side and for the other one, the right side was marked. Gather old papers and tape around them, make sure to have the inner corners of the frame covered as well to avoid painting them alomg with. Apply several or a single coat of paint as per the coverage of your spray. I found the gold Montana spray paint having good coverage as one coat was enough. Let the paint dry and then carefully strip off the tape from your noticeboards to reveal the pretty rad effect.
All you’ve to do is hang it or keep them on your desk just like how I did and get starting with your plans and goals already.
Let me know what you think of geometric treatment I gave to them noticeboards.
And have a great weekend:)
